Highlights from the Second Term
Throughout this second term, the English Area has been working hard to make learning meaningful, fun, and useful for real life. Here’s a quick look at the best moments of the term!
The Great Spelling Bee! One of our star events was the Spelling Bee Competition, bringing together students from both Primary and Secondary. More than just winning, this was all about picking up new vocabulary, improving pronunciation, sharpening listening skills, and—most importantly—building confidence to speak in public! It was amazing to see everyone's commitment and talent in such a friendly competition.
7th Graders and their "Dream JobsA huge congratulations to our seventh graders! They did a fantastic job showcasing their "Dream Jobs" through creative posters and oral presentations. They shared their future aspirations using everything they’ve learned in class, proving they can write and speak English with great fluency. Awesome progress, guys!
Quick Reminder: Keep up with the Richmond Platform!We want to remind students and families that the mandatory activities on the Richmond Learning Platform are key. Don’t forget to work on your iRead digital book and complete the weekly Step-Up English Assignment (open from Wednesday through Sunday). These tools are perfect for reinforcing what we do in class and building independent learning habits.
The school year is rolling on, and the goal remains the same: keep practicing! Participate in class, use all available resources, and remember that every new word brings you closer to mastering the language. Let's keep going!
