Dear students and families,

We are pleased to share some the exciting and meaningful activities and enriching experiences that the English Area has undertaken in the first two school terms. These experiences have not only enriched our students' linguistic skills, but also their cultural awareness and creativity.

One of our most outstanding events this year was the Anglophone Fair, a colorful and energetic presentation of English-speaking cultures. Students from all grade levels participated in creative projects based on important celebrations such as Valentine's Day, Saint Patrick's Day, the 4th of July, and Thanksgiving. Students learned about the traditions behind these celebrations through handcrafts, performances, and cultural exhibits, getting to know more about the English-speaking world in a fun and interactive way.

Another academic highlight was our annual Spelling Bee Contest, which was held for Primary and High School students every year. New and innovative methods like dictation exercises and image analysis were implemented this year to make the learning and participation of the students easier, and allowed them to strengthen their listening, spelling, and comprehension skills in a more interactive and analytical manner.

Students have demonstrated excellent effort, teamwork, and enthusiasm throughout these activities. We are proud, as teachers, of their development and commitment, and we remain dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences that challenge and motivate.

Also, we were delighted to see that this project also encouraged our teachers to participate! A few of the staff members participated in a special edition of the Spelling Bee, demonstrating their commitment to bilingualism and their enthusiasm for ongoing learning. It was an enjoyable and motivational experience for all participants.

Finally, we would like to remind all students and parents of the continued use of our educational platforms: Richmond Studio, iRead, and other home practice tools. These are so important in helping to reinforce classroom skills and promote daily practice in a fun and easily accessible way.

Let's keep growing together, one word at a time!

Best regards,

The English Area
